The Sun I see Today is a data driven sculpture generated from Solar flare activity during a 1 year period. The geometry of each triangle is based on storm activity and uses duration, and intensity to form its length and angle characteristics. The pieces are combined to create a prismatic form that represents a year of activity on our Sun.
